| THE CAUSE: BIO: Formed back in 1997, THE CAUSE underwent many line up changes, changes in sound, and most of all changes in ethic. Never giving up, or in, was founding members Christopher and Jeremy's unspoken ethos which carried them through four releases, a few tours, and lots of memories. As one of San Diego's punk/hardcore veteran bands for six years, The Cause ended on a high note with a line-up of dedicated and thoughtful people that played strictly from their hearts. Most recently with their highly acclaimed Ep "Human Condition", a promising split with personal favorites By The Grace of God, as well as shows with the likes of Converge, Good Riddance, The Hope Conspiracy and many more, The Cause seemed unstoppable til the very last minute. Alas, all things must come to an end, and The Cause played their swan song to a sold out crowd for a San Diego Rape Crisis benefit show. With the help of many of their friends, the bands and the staff at the Che Cafe, The Cause gave their all and more until the very last note and scream. Members went on to form TAMORA shortly after. AFTERTHOUGHT: THE CAUSE would like to thank all of their friends and families all over for the never-ending support through six years, and continuing support in new endeavors.
